Greenhouse Technician

Ironwood Farming Group is hiring a Greenhouse Technician to join our Albany team.

About Ironwood Farming Group

Ironwood Farming Group is a family-owned Georgia agriculture and produce operations business based in Albany. Founded in 2019, we run 3 locations in Middle Georgia and employ a tight team that values doing the work well over scale.

About the role

You'll care for crops in a controlled greenhouse environment: seeding, transplanting, pruning, and harvesting on schedule. You'll monitor climate systems, irrigation, and nutrient levels, log readings and adjust settings within set ranges, and scout plants daily for pests and disease so problems are caught at the first leaf, not the hundredth. You'll also help with cleaning, sanitation protocols, and order preparation.

What you will bring

You're observant, consistent, and comfortable with warm, humid working conditions and repetitive plant work done to a standard. Greenhouse, nursery, or horticulture experience helps, along with basic comfort recording data and following integrated pest management practices carefully.

If this sounds like the right fit, apply through this listing. Final-round interviews are typically on-site.
